1984 Gundy - Serious Collectors Only 1984 presents the first boxed GUNDY in the collectible series. The 9 inch 1984 Gundy is made of soft ivory plush and is fully articulated. Gundy's paw pads are brown, genuine buckskin and his soles have contrasting print accents. His brown nose and mouth are hand embroidered. Gundy has a sewn-in label on his arm indicating his edition year. GUNDY began as a Celebration and became a Collection The 1983 introduction of an "Anniversary Bear" celebrating Gund's 85th year in business became known as the first Gundy. This annual collectible 9" fully jointed bear arrives in a display box unique to each year which enhances the collectibility of the series. Gundy is an annual edition and the production is limited to the year in which it is introduced. The collection ended in 2009 marking 25 amazing years of Teddy Bears. This adorable collectible makes an ideal birthday gift, anniversary present or holiday gift. Each Gund bear then celebrates a year in the life of someone special.
