28 PB has metal rod connectors, making him far more durable than his string jointed predecessor 55 PB! The original PB 28 made his debut in 1904. To mark his 100th birthday, Steiff is producing him again to his original design, including boot button eyes and a sealing-wax nose (complete with scratches and finger marks). He stands 11 inches tall, is stuffed with wood shavings and sports a stainless steel "elephant motif" Button in Ear.
