The Teddy bear from 1908 - is stepping into the limelight again. With Steiff's attention to event the tiniest details, this Teddy bear is aged by almost a hundred years during the several days of hand production. This is achieved by partially shaving the mohair plush and simulating the patina by means of creative airbrush work.
This 13 inch tall bear is mohair and fully jointed. He is surface washable. The 1908 Replica bear is a limited edition of only 1908 pieces and he is stuffed with wood shavings. He has boot-button eyes and a growler. His "Button in Ear" is underscored and made of patinated steel. Part of the 2007 Steiff Worldwide Collection.
